Taco Sauce (Salsa)

Ingredients

• 2 cups tomatoes, raw or canned
• 1/2 cup onion
• 2 jalapeno peppers, raw or canned
• 1 green bell pepper
• 1/4 cup vinegar
• 1 tablespoon sugar
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 bay leaf

Directions

1. If using raw tomatoes, remove skin
2. Chop tomatoes, onion, and peppers, or blend altogether in blender.
3. Add remaining ingredients and cook until desired consistency – approximately 1/2 hour.
4. Remove bay leaf.
5. Store in the refrigerator.
