Taco Sauce (Salsa)
Ingredients
- 2 cups tomatoes, fresh or canned
- 1/2 cup onion
- 2 jalapeno peppers
- 1 green bell pepper
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 bay leaf
Directions
- If using fresh tomatoes, remove skin.
- Chop tomatoes, onion, and peppers (or use blender).
- Combine in pot and add remaining ingredients and cook until desired consistency – approximately 1/2 hour.
- Remove bay leaf and store in refrigerator.
- Serve and enjoy with La Cocina Original Tortilla Chips!
