Taco Sauce (Salsa)
Ingredients
- 2 cups tomatoes, raw or canned
- 1/2 cup onion
- 2 jalapeno peppers, raw or canned
- 1 green bell pepper
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 bay leaf
Directions
- If using raw tomatoes, remove skin
- Chop tomatoes, onion, and peppers, or blend altogether in blender.
- Add remaining ingredients and cook until desired consistency – approximately 1/2 hour.
- Remove bay leaf.
- Store in the refrigerator.
